First and foremost, people
must realize that obedience training is an ongoing affair between you and your
dog.
Bonding between
owner and dog must exist prior to obedience training.
The
length of time required for training also varies by different
temperaments. All breeds of dogs have different levels of
"trainability." And dogs are individuals.
At
von der Graf kennels we dedicate ourselves to "Owner
Awareness." During training sessions we will teach you, how to
teach your dog, because at the end of the day, he or she goes home with you.
For
those individuals that do not have time for group session work, we provide
training for your dog at our facility using two different methods:

Dog Sitting/Training
(during daytime hours)
-
Dog Sitting/Training
(we keep your dog until training is complete)
With either of these
methods, you must complete 3 sessions (one per week for one hour) with your
dog, to transfer obedience handling, after conclusion of our training.
